JCP was introduced to Sagebrush by a shareholder in the company through a shared affiliation in an industry trade association.
Investment Highlights :
After providing Sagebrush with growth equity capital, JCP helped Sagebrush establish a board of directors, assisted the company in developing a strategic growth plan, and identified potential acquisition candidates. In 2019, JCP invested additional capital to finance the acquisition of a much larger complementary business, bringing in a co-investor as part of the overall acquisition financing. The company is completing the integration of the two businesses and advancing the cross-selling opportunities.
